Arrival

We’ll be arriving a week before the wedding to handle last-minute preparations. If you’re arriving early, we’d love to catch up!

Wednesday 1st April 2026 – Franschhoek Wine Tram

We plan to explore the beautiful Franschhoek Valley on the wine tram and would love for you to join us.

If you’re interested, please fill out the form below.

We’ll arrange the booking directly with the tram, but kindly note that each guest will be responsible for their own ticket costs.

Day Before & Morning After

Friday, 3rd April 2026 – Pre-Wedding Braai (TBC)

As most of our guests will be checking in at their Webersburg accommodation (read more) on Friday, we’re planning a casual South African braai (barbecue) the evening before the wedding. Details will be confirmed closer to the time.

Sunday, 5th April 2026 – Farewell Breakfast

Join us for a relaxed breakfast before we part ways. This is included for guests staying at Webersburg. If you won’t be staying with Webersburg and would like to attend the breakfast, please let us know!

Franschhoek Wine Tram

The Franschhoek Wine Tram is a unique way to explore the picturesque Franschhoek Valley, known as the heart of South Africa's wine country.

This hop-on-hop-off tram and bus service takes visitors through a variety of wine farms, each offering stunning views, world-class wines, and rich history.

How It Works

  • Choose from several tram lines, each visiting a different selection of wine estates.

  • Hop on and off at your leisure, with stops at each wine farm spaced approximately an hour apart, with the option to stay longer at each farm if preferred.

  • Enjoy tastings, cellar tours, and delicious food at each stop.

Estimated Costs

  • Wine Tram Tickets: Prices start at around R280-R350 per person (approximately £12–£18).

  • Wine Tastings at Farms: Most wine farms charge between R60-R120 per tastings, which usually include a selection of wines per tasting. This is approximately £3-£6, depending on the estate and the wines offered.

If you’re interested in joining us on Tuesday 31st March 2026, please fill out the form.
